The House of Music is a new type of music school for Vienna that should be an important link
between past and present of the city. The building will have to resolve two separate programs, a music school / conservatory and a new public space that is related to the park and the city.
The project seeks to link the music and nature through the architecture. The Stadtpark is the chosen site, because it’s importance and because it’s located in Vienna's famous Ringstrasse. The project has the difficulty of being close to the old town and in the middle of a park, at a time that is located along a small canal and two major avenues.
The call is public and open to all undergraduate students, both from Architecture as from related careers like Engineering, Urban Planning, Design, etc. Students must be able to prove, by any official document (enrolment papers, student card, etc.) that, when the registration period opens, they are studying. All postgraduate students, whose undergraduate degree is not older than 3 years, can also participate.

Unique features of this portal enable all members to contribute in the making of the future of architectural thought by submitting, discussing, editing, rating, sharing their work.

Hotel Design as Thesis

Hotel is a type of building which has a never-ending prospect and future.
Hotel is like a 'soft-machine of hospitality'. It's tough to archive the proper level of functionality in detail in hotel projects.
Designing the back and front house facilities and services properly is very important in this regard.

Ruebl_RAF is going to do a project as his undergrad architecture thesis on a 5 star hotel designing in Chittagong, Bangladesh. We are expecting some threads regarding this issue in ArchSociety forum from him soon.

He may initially follow some good examples of hotels designed by one of the architecture guru of subcontinent Architect Geoffrey Bawa. Here are some images of Geoffrey Bawa hotel and resort projects:

I am working on this project as my final year Thesis [Design] project as a student of architecture in "The University of Asia Pacific" Dhanmondi, Dhaka.

Client is "S Alam Group"

I am going to write on this project as I proceed with my design.
Though I will do my best,It is a tough job to design a 5_Star_Hotel.
